London is a place, a city, a world like no other. A city with stories from long ago. Alot of us Canadians have English ancestry and we all want to feel that our culture comes somewhat from England. To be in one place where you can meet someone from almost every country in the world, is a very unique place. Makes the world feel small, come together and share the same eyes.

The markets in London are absolutely enthralling. The food, the art, the people. You can head to one end of town and taste something you have never heard of before and later that day see something you have never seen before. It inspires you to learn and speak to people from a place that is not like home. Bringing home fond memories, new friends and new culture.

On a Sunday you can head to Liverpool Street station and hit 5 different markets within a few hours.

My months spent in London I only covered a handfull.

First becoming a market in 1638 hard to imagine people have been shopping on these grounds for over 300 years. Old Spitalfields market has an amazing array of art, jewelry, food, antiques and clothing. Its covered roof top makes it great for the gloomy raining days in London.
